We are incredibly proud to celebrate senior studio member Mallory Goddard for her outstanding performances at the Schmidt Vocal Competition this season.
Mallory first competed at the regional competition in Georgia, where she earned 2nd place and advanced to the national competition. At Nationals, she competed against 52 other talented singers from across the country and ultimately advanced to the Final 16βan extraordinary accomplishment that reflects her dedication, artistry, and hard work.
Throughout the competition process, Mallory represented our studio with grace, professionalism, and musical excellence. Her performances showcased not only her remarkable vocal ability but also the passion and commitment she brings to every opportunity.
While the accolades are impressive, we are most proud of the character, perseverance, and joy she demonstrated throughout this journey. She has been a wonderful ambassador for our studio and an inspiration to younger singers who aspire to follow in her footsteps.
Congratulations, Mallory! We could not be more proud of all that you have accomplished, and we cannot wait to see where your musical journey takes you next.
2025-2026 wrap up!
It All Begins Here
As another school year comes to a close, I am overwhelmed with pride for the students of RJR Music Studio.
This year brought incredible accomplishments, memorable performances, and tremendous personal growth. Every student in the studio earned a Superior rating at Solo & Ensemble, a reflection not only of talent, but of dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence.
Our students were recognized at the district, state, regional, and national levels through honor choir selections, vocal competitions, musical theatre productions, and academic scholarships. Studio members earned Superior with Distinction ratings, Critics Choice awards, placements in prestigious ACDA Honor Choirs, leading roles in musical theatre productions, top finishes in major vocal competitions, and acceptance into outstanding collegiate music programs with scholarship support.
While awards and recognitions are exciting, what makes me most proud is the growth that happened behind the scenes. Every singer entered the year with different goals, challenges, and dreams. Some focused on building confidence, some expanded their vocal technique, some prepared for auditions, and others simply discovered a deeper love for music. Each student found success because they were willing to put in the work.
At RJR Music Studio, we celebrate excellence, but we also celebrate effort, resilience, artistry, and community. Our studio family continues to inspire me every day, and I am grateful to be part of each student's musical journey.
Congratulations to all of our singers on an extraordinary year. I cannot wait to see what next season brings!
